1. Discipline:

In today’s world of a comparison-driven and anxiety-ridden social media, implementing all 3 of these things correctly will most definitely get the most out of your student athlete. Discipline instills the necessary values and work ethic, while praise nurtures confidence and motivation. Constructive criticism (criticism without personal attacks,humiliation or put downs) on the other hand, guides athletes towards improvement and growth. By creating an environment that encompasses these three elements, coaches and mentors can empower young athletes to unlock their full potential, both on and off the field/court/course.
