How does listening to a personalized positive inner mind recording help you improve your performance? I get asked this question a lot! Here’s a little explanation of how it works:
According to scientific research and extensive sleep studies, the brain is in a very relaxed state just before falling asleep. This is when it’s “open” to suggestions the most, which allows it to process and absorb information more effectively. Why? Because in this twilight state, the brain is not distracted by external stimuli or judgement. It can focus on learning new information and combining memories. Additionally, during this time, the brain is actually more receptive to new information and can form stronger connections between neurons, which enhances memory retention.
This is why it’s important to avoid watching and listening to negative or frightening things as you’re falling asleep. It can affect your sleep patterns and give you anxiety.
However, when you listen to positive, motivational, encouraging cues, phrases, certain focusing, calming background music and inspiring words upon falling asleep, you sleep better, wake up motivated and play with confidence, mental calmness and focus!
